What is a Scarecroodle?
~It's a catchier and more memorable name than Scarecrow, which is generally taken anyway. Scarecrow, being a fear-related villain with a catchy costume, is probably one of my all-time favorite villains (just not the movie version).

Beyond that, I'm just your average, run of the mill editor for Tomopop (Destructoid's less successful sibling) and mostly cover western releases.

What does a Scarecroodle like?
~I love fighting games, platformers, horror, and anime. I also collect a lot of Marvel/DC stuff, but most of that interest stems from the old cartoons/movies and the comic interest only came because I thought some of the figures looked insane. Figure-wise, I think the 6\" scale is probably the ideal size for figures. At that size they can make nice display pieces, sick detail, and joints that don't break (like in the crappy smaller scales).

I'm also a massive fan of the really small scales because it usually allows for a lot of incredible-looking scenery (check out stuff like Warhammer, etc). I would love to really get into sculpting, but I'm kinda clumsy which doesn't work well when things need to be exact.

I'd really like to get into statues (because the detailing and paint is usually good), but the pricing is more than a little daunting and you don't get as much variety out of them whereas figures can be posed into elaborate set-ups or whatever.

SDCC07 She-Hulk arrived with, well, indecent exposure. Looks like she slipped in package (half wonder if the seller displayed on shelf then repackaged to claim it's new, not placing it properly) and her nipple (well, where her nipple would be if Hasbro sculpted nipples which I don't think they ever will) scraped against the window, subsequently killing a good chunk of paint.

So basically I sent the seller a "what the hell, man?", just mentioning and showing photos of the damage.

The seller responded this:
"oh wow....no, i keep everything stored in air conditioned smoke free home, on a shelf. You can send it bak to me and I will refund your money or I can offer you 10% purchase price.....or if there is anything else you are looking for i can do free shipping? "

While I'd probably prefer to just keep the thing (because returns are a hassle), I'm not sure if it's something I can repair easily myself. The 10% off offer really isn't much, it would basically save me four bucks if he took it off the total price (including shipping). The third option is free shipping which I guess wouldn't be bad if one of his other auctions closes low. I might mention delaying a decision until I see how one of those auctions turns out.

Thoughts?
