About
I started collecting anime/game figurines in 2006. I think of the pieces in my collection as works of art, and I'm very discriminating as to the quality of the pieces I include. So as not to tempt myself and build up a collection larger than I'd like, I only buy figures that I see while browsing in physical shops, though I still admire images of releases that I see online.

Maker: Kotobukiya
Scale: 1/6
Anime: Hayate the Combat Butler

This piece holds special value to me, because it's the only one I bought when I was in Japan some years ago, during a trip to Akihabara. I enjoyed that vacation immensely, and there were so many things I did and saw that weren't anime-related that I'll always treasure. I wasn't even a fan of Hayate the Combat Butler when I bought Hinagiku, but she was just so well-crafted that I knew I had to have her. The color, the pose, everything about this figure is so bold and lovely.
