Hello everyone! It's that time again, and since my last group buy was a success I decided to do it again, this time with three figures! OTL
The three figures in question are:
Nendoroid Snow Miku: Fluffy Coat Version
Nendoroid Homura Akemi: School Uniform Version
Figma Homura Akemi: School Uniform Version

I currently have one slot open for each figure (possibly two for Nendo Homura), and with the deadline rapidly approaching I'll be taking the first interested parties in the comments.
I would like to finalize the groups by Thursday, Feb. 16th, payments and final order confirmation by Saturday, Feb. 18.
This is primarily a US group buy, but I don't mind Canada, however the shipping will probably be equal to direct purchasing.
The second shipping will be by USPS Priority Mail, and I will be asking for the second shipping payment when the order comes in.
Thanks in advanced for your interest.

[Update] Slots are closed, E-mail's are sent.

Hi everyone,
I am organizing a group buy for the figma Hatsune Miku Support Version. It is a late post, but I had two people drop on me so I decided to open it up on here. This group buy is for this product: http://cheerful-japan-global.ecq.sc/top/gcp113.html
It will be 3000yen for the figure plus 2000yen split between the buyers.

I will finalize the group list on Saturday July 30th. I will require payment by the 1st of August at 3pm(PST), and will be placing the order right after all funds are gathered. Payment will be by Paypal. To reiterate, this is for US residents. The second shipping will be by USPS Priority Mail, and I will be asking for the second shipping payment when the order comes in.

[Update]
Thanks for all the responses. I received an Email from GSC regarding the order and although it's a bit fluffy at least I know the order is coming in properly. It's been bumpy but at least having the option to purchase internationally without going through proxies and the like is a big step forward despite the minor details. Although I may not be happy with the current state of things, I will continue using the service and hope they continue to offer it. Of course I hope the mailing service will be much better by then. On that note, I decided to go ahead with the next group buy for figma Hatsune Miku Cheer Ver. and if you are interested check it out in the Cblogs.

Now for the original post:

Has anyone else received a shipping notice or their figure(s) yet?

I received a shipping notice from GSC that my order for the Miku Nendoroid is being shipped. I received that notice about a week and a half ago, and had a bit of concern when it said it's shipping EMS WITHOUT tracking, which apparently was fully warranted concern. Half a week into waiting, I went ahead and E-mailed their customer support and still have yet to receive a reply. I have not received a package or notice of delivery slip either (living in the US by the way). Normally I wouldn't mind but it is EMS shipping and it was a group order so the other persons who ordered with me are getting antsy as well.

I am in a bit of a crossroads on what to do now. I want to ask if anyone was interested in a group order for the upcoming Miku Figma and have two other persons who want to join in already, but with this predicament I don't know if I want to make another purchase.

If I reach the two week mark without a reply or a package I really don't know what to do. Any suggestions on getting proper support, and maybe even a refund? Hopefully it doesn't come to this as I wouldn't want to ask a refund for something that's partly selling for charity.

[Update] A friend just contacted me after I posted this and apparently the E-mail was a bit premature and that all orders look like they are in the 'preparing shipment' phase straight from their factory in Hong Kong. It would be nice to receive official word from GSC though as all of this looks like conjecture.

After donating 10 million yen, Good Smile Company has created another version of the Hatsune Miku Nendoroid in support of the relief efforts in Japan. The cheerleader version Hatsune Miku will cost 3000 yen and 1000 yen of each figure sold will be donated to the relief efforts as well.

It is going on sale tomorrow, but it looks like it will be through the Good Smile company website only (Please don't quote me on that, I'm not 100% sure). However, according to Danny Choo's recent post people outside of Japan will be able to order her from the English Good Smile Company Website on April 8th.

I do like the figure, and if doesn't sell out (hopefully there isn't a supply limit) I will purchase it. On a side note, Good Smile Company looks like it is willing to sell internationally, and that may prove to be interesting in the future.

Mikatan has put up photos of the Tony Taka Miku which is finally off the delay train and being shipped out.

And she is shiny!

Here is a comparison shot from the GoodSmile product site:

At first I wasn't really digging the shiny hair, but I am really liking the new look after comparing it to the original look, which has hair that seems a bit color saturated now. It really puts an emphasis on the hair sculpt which looks very nice and very fragile, especially those two slim strands.

Now the thing is, the figure's look changed pretty significantly in my opinion. How does everyone else feel about the new look, especially if you've been waiting for it on preorder?

UPDATE 3: For those waiting for Otacute to put up Cirno, she is now on preorder there now. Reimu and Marisa Rerelease is also up on preorder there now too.

Cirno
Reimu
Marisa

I stayed up just in case these releases went live and so far Big In Japan has put them up for order!

UPDATE 2: Big In Japan has put the preorder for Cirno Out Of Stock as well as Reimu and Marisa. I am keeping the link up just in case anyone wants to check it and see if it's status has changed. There has been no activity yet from TokyoHunter, or Yokatta Web.

Big In Japan:
Cirno!!!!! (Out of Stock)
Reimu rerelease (Out of Stock)
Marisa rerelease (Out of Stock)

I placed my preorder already and hopefully you'll catch what you want before they may sell out.
If it has sold out already there I would keep my eye on TokyoHunter, Yokatta Web, Otacute, or another proxy service. I'll update this if there is any interest for it. If there is a place you know that has preorders and want to add leave a comment.
