About
Jeremy Crocker here, probably better known around the net as Emerje, I'm an associate editor here at Tomopop. I've been an avid figure collector my entire life. There's no time when I can remember ever not using my allowance or paycheck to buy new toys. As a child born in 1980 I lived through the time that's currently basking in a nostalgia pop culture resurgence. Transformers, G.I. Joe, Voltron, He-man and many others were as much a part of my childhood as they are my adulthood.

In the early '90s I was first introduced to anime and have been a fan ever since. With nearly 20 years of taking part in otaku culture Japanese figures make a very large part of my daily collecting. I couldn't imagine what my collection would look like today without figma, Revoltech, and various other lines on my shelf.

Aside from toys and anime I'm also a gamer with a preference towards JRPGs and fighting games. I still have every game and console I've ever owned since the NES days with only a few games lost to the years. Even now my favorite games are 2D over 3D, I just love the look of simple hand drawn sprites, especially from back in SNES and PS1 days. I'm just as content playing through Chrono Trigger again as I am any of the newest releases.

My collection can be followed at MFC and Shmax. I try to keep my anime viewing habits up to date at Anime News Network.

A little bit of a throw back for the figma line with scans of Gunslinger Girl's Henrietta appearing today. There hasn't been an anime since the OAV in 2008, though the manga still trudges on. Expect the rest of the girls to be announced before too long, then you can pit them against your other figma hitmen like Duke, Canaan, or the upcoming Kiritsugu.
