Wave's Beach Queens figures are known for two things: their affordable price point and their small sizes. If you've grown accustomed to the familiar routine of Beach Queens releases, then you'd better clench your teeth, because Nate Mitotsudaira is here to rock your socks off.

If didn't know better, given Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon's sci-fi premise, I would've thought she tucked away five jet turbines in her hairdo. In fact, her hair is so massive that a small support peg is included to keep her standing upright. I would not be doing Nate justice if I focus only on her hair, though, because she's got a body worthy of the Beach Queens title. Her heavenly legs look even longer with that high-cut bikini bottom, which incidentally is also secretly digging its way to China underneath the cover of those mega-drills.

Nate's mighty hairdo comes at a price, as she is going for the retail price of ¥6,600 -- ¥2,800 higher than your average Beach Queens figure. A little steep? Probably, but for the most distinctive Beach Queens figure to come out in a long time, I'm willing to make an exception. Also, for a bit of extra money, you can get your mitts on the Dengeki online shop exclusive variant, which comes with a blushing expression that's just downright adorable.
