Bishoujo Commander Shepard paints it black for BioWare

Bishoujo Commander Shepard's alternate colorway is a BioWare shop exclusive

Thanks to the glory of press email (and a Facebook update I noticed after finishing this post), I've been informed that Bishoujo Commander Shepard is going to be released in an alternate colorway exclusively at the BioWare shop. We just saw previews of the standard release, set to hit shelves in March, and now you can glance at the less colorful, more on the sleek side version in the gallery.

Rather than the red hair, the BioWare shop exclusive Shepard is sporting dark tresses. As I've come to expect with most official Mass Effect 3-related merchandise, she also comes with a code for multiplayer fun stuff (PC and Xbox only). Finally, she will come with a spiffy exclusive N7 Eagle Pistol (that hand interchanges with the open hand) which is exclusive to this version and won't be a part of the regular release.

The unannounced size of the edition will not exceed 2,500 pieces, and like her standard counterpart she is slated for release in March. Her price is set to US$65.00.
