Thats some nice details with the roses and flowing hair and kimono, but the red transitioning to black with white inbetween is a bit awkward imo.

I normally make it a point to avoid posting about Ikki Tousen figures, since the market is kind of flooded with them and they ceased to entertain me some time ago. This new one, however, definitely caught my attention, though. I think I'm just a sucker for figures in kimono.
This figure of Choun Shiryu from Beat (a company I am completely unfamiliar with, by the way) is 1/6th scale and due out this October. She'll retail for 13,800 yen, which is pricey compared to the majority of the other figures of the character out there, but she certainly is larger. Hobby Search has preorders open now, should you be interested. Is anyone else out there familiar with Beat?
