Bandai's UK warehouse guarded ... by a security cat
Worried that thieves might break in and steal figures this holiday season from warehouses? Never fear, because Bandai's got Millie the Security Cat on detail! Yes, this is a real thing: at Bandai's U.K. warehouse in Southampton, England, a Bengal cat named Millie is in charge of roaming the floor to make sure everything's alright. While looking for a new security guard, warehouse workers happened upon Millie wandering the warehouse floor, and she was apparently deputized to look over all your Power Rangers and Thundercats action figures, British readers. Millie is by all accounts well cared for, and she gets paid in fish and cat food. According to her owner, "Millie has always had a very vigilant personality and doesn't mind long hours alone ... I'm not surprised she took up a career as a security guard – the toys are lucky to have such an attentive guardian." Indeed they are, unnamed owner. Indeed they are.
