I've wanted a Samus, Ridley, and normal Metroid figure forever (not the crappy Metroid variants introduced in games like Samus's Return), but I don't think we'll probably see the last two. It's cool that we're getting another Mega Man since I don't really trust plamos for display purposes (as nice as the recent one looks; it's a distrust based partly on the Mega Man items Takara has released in the past), but I have a feeling we'll continue to get screwed on the Robot Masters front (such as when JazzWare decided to not release that awesome-looking Retro Roto Wood Man...)
Most of the others, though, seem reasonably likely - Atlus is quite open to merchandising, so Izanagi will probably happen. Same goes for MegaMan - Capcom is pretty pro-merchandising. IIRC, Bandai already has the Grid Man license.
The only thing that matters is that Samus is getting a figure that isn't $100+ dollars and in limited run.
Again, Samus isn't getting a figure just yet. They haven't talked to the license holders yet - if the license holders say no (and Nintendo probably will), the figures won't happen.
So sorry for cap spam.
Now they bring me Samus, Kurochan and Megaman (ah dammit! I've already pre'ordered my Kotobukiya one...)
They've got on me a new collector of all these series
