Baka to Test's Hideyoshi gets dolled up by AZONE

If you're ever looking for that anime doll without the price tag of someone like, say... Volks, there's always AZONE International as an option. The company has been producing dolls based on anime characters for a while now and their next in line comes from summon beasts school title Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu: Ni!.

As a part of their Asterisk Collection Series, AZONE International will be releasing a 1/6 scale Hideyoshi Kinoshita doll. I've never been big on AZONE's faces for their dolls since they are so flat but they do a decent job everywhere else. The hairstyle is really cute with the two clips on each side which I've been liking plus a short hairstyle gets me every time. Hideyoshi is looking sharp in uniform though it looks a tad thick. You can take off the coat and it's not so bad looking. ... Are those suspenders? How cute! Hideyoshi is also looking quite lovely in the China dress and heels. Makes you wonder if there's underwear included.

Oh, I'm just a sucker for a lady in a China dress! And Hideyoshi is looking so pretty in the... ... ... Huh? She's a he? ... I see... ... I stand by my statements! Seriously, AZONE dolls aren't my cup of tea but that's only because I'm spoiled by Volks. If you're interested, the Hideyoshi Kinoshita doll is retailing for ¥11,000 and will be available in May, 2012.
