Atypical 'Garage Sale' looks to be a star-studded party
I don't know about you but I don't tend to get excited about garage sales. I never find anything I want to buy and then feel guilty for looking. Well, Clearwithguts's Garage Sale (pronounce "garr-ridge") isn't your neighbor's garage sale. Presented by MutonIsMyFriend, this is more like a one-day gallery show filled with designer toys and art from well-known artists. Each of the artists takes home 100 percent of the money earned from sales. The hosts are simply doing this out of love and support for the community. So far, the list of artists in attendance include: Velocitron, Josh Herbolsheimer, Mitchell Edmonds, Brian Flynn, Splurrt, Monster Worship, Adam Middleton/RabbitsAndRobots, Toby Dutkiewicz/Devils Head Productions, Scott Wilkowski, JulieB/Pretty In Plastic, Dennis Hamaan/Shirihama, David Coffman, Megan Kelly, Uh-Oh Toys, Datadub/Fig-Lab, plus at least one surprise guest. That is a whole lot of awesome under one garage roof. So, I am sure you are chomping at the bit to go, right? The Garage Sale will take place Saturday, December 1, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific at 1239 North Hoover Street, Los Angeles, CA 90029. More information can be found here.
