ArtFX Iron Man is an awesomely affordable alternative

Feb 04 // Scarecroodle

For those of us not as rich as Tony Stark

For anybody who liked the look of Hot Toys' 1/6 scale Power Pose Iron Man Mark 42 but worried that it might be a little too pricey, Kotobukiya offers what will most likely be a more affordable Iron Man in the form of their 1/6 scale ArtFX Iron Man Mark 42.

Granted, the ArtFX Iron Man Mark 42 may lack the functionality of Hot Toys' Power Pose version but the detail is still solid and it also features LED lighting. Beyond that, the ArtFX Iron Man's very rockin' pose is anchored by an incredibly awesome water effect base (which seems to indicate that Tony is flying backwards while firing?). It's a very impressive kit all around.

Kotobukiya's ArtFX Iron Man Mark 42 is slated for a June release.
