Are these actual Masters of the Universe Classics prototypes? photo

A member of the He-Man.org forums came across pictures of some possible MOTUC prototypes early this morning. According to the poster, German fans found pictures of these mystery figures on ebay.

Obviously the figures are re-decos of He-Man and Skeletor but the main question would be why? Guesses so far have ranged from everything to an SDCC exclusive to a highly unlikely Toys R' Us He-Man and Superman two-pack. While there's so far no solid evidence to back up that these figures are even real, much less how they would be released, it is of note that He-Man is sporting a gold power sword and gray shield that seem identical to those revealed at the MOTU art show in January.

So what do you think internet Matlocks? Real or fake?

The Superman two pack actually isn't that far fetched. That weird color scheme He-Man's sporting there is exactly how he looked on the cover of the Superman/MOTU crossover comic. And Mattel has been hinting that there are two SDCC exclusives, and one is a celebrity.

(Also of note is that Skeletor doesn't have any green or red on his face, also as he appeared in the comic)

If it is true, I don't know if I would buy it. I'm not all that interested in an ugly repaint of He-Man. However, if it has a new MOTUC style Superman, and not just some DCUC figure, then it might be worth it.
