Amie Grand's got a pricey new Ikkitousen biker figure for you

Amie Grand's got a pricey new Ikkitousen biker figure for you photo

Truthfully, I think most Ikkitousen figures are kind of stupid. We write about them all the time, but the design just never appeals to me. I found it strange this morning that I saw this one and found something about it attractive, despite the fact no woman in her right mind would parade around in a biker jacket with no top underneath (well, maybe in your dreams). Why do I like this figure?

Anyway, there are a lot more pics of her in the gallery, and you can go see them if you find yourself strangely attracted as well. From the Xtreme Xecutor series, this 1/6 scale polystone figure of Hakufu was sculpted by Ikeda Yoshikazu and will be released sometime this June. Like most polystone figures, it's rather pricey -- ¥15,540 (US$191.70). Still, if you like something a bit more solid than PVC on your collector's shelf, this might be the way to go. See the Amie Grand website for more details on this ravishing redhead.

That's not some simple biker outfit, that's Kill Bill (Uma Thurman) cosplay :)

^Unless that's the characters normal clothing. Either way, it's taken from Kill BIll.
Nope, that's not her outfit, it's definitely a Kill Bill cosplay. It's actually pretty popular, there's also a GK of Soniko in the same outfit. Kind of like how every character got slapped into Yoko's bikini a while back!
Meh I'm not a super fan of the show or anything. I have only ever bought one Ikkitousen figure and it was the Ryomou one that was released not to far back(it's on my blog thing somewhere)

This one looks off in the face. Like really off. The way her mouth looks just makes it look terrible and that is a deal breaker when you consider the price even if you are a fan of the show.
My girlfriend wants to shoot one of her future music videos in an outfit like that. (Not necessarily open down the front, though.)
Kinda definitely like it.
FYI - the Kill Bill outfit was a homage to Bruce Lee's famous biker outfit.

I usually puke at Ikkitousen figures, but I REALLY like this one. I don't know what you mean about the face being off, it looks right to me.

Treasure Festa in Ariake 9: Amie-Grand

Amie-Grand had some nice figures at Treasure Festa with my personal favorite being Asuka. I like the concept, with her chilling on a really cool NERV-themed base. You can also see a polystone 1/6-scale Chuubou Sonken from Ikk...

[NSFW] Enjoy a full moon with Amanda Werner

Amie-Grand doesn't seem content to just be releasing their polystone Rei for a second time. Hailing from the action packed Blassreiter, XAT agent Amanda Werner will be arriving in July as well, and is she ever baring all! Whi...

X marks the spot for a re-release of Rei

It seems like even longer than a couple years ago when we took a look at Amie Grand's gorgeous gothy Rei of Evangelion fame. In the time since then, I've grown no love for the overly popular character, but nor has any been lo...

Amie-Grand looks down on Evangelion's Asuka in a good way

Asuka Langley Shikinami from Rebuild of Evangelion; love her or hate her, you at least have to admire some of the figures released of her. I know I'm drawn in by Amie-Grand's latest 1/6-scale figure of this fiery red head sin...

Brace yourshelf before ordering this new Charlotte figure

You're going to have to shore up your collection storage if you plan on picking up this new Charlotte Dunois from Amie-Grand! Foregoing PVC for a heftier polystone cast, you can count on this lady to be quite a bit sturdier t...

Amie-Grand's Asuka looks like she had a rough day

Amie-Grand is all about the polystone statues. It's their thing. Well, that and Ikkitousen. But from time to time they'll produce something from a different title. ...though that title is normally Evangelion. And that's what ...

Get cross with this new Rei Ayanami kit

I've made mention of the fact that I'm no fan of Evangelion's seemingly most popular character, the enigmatic Rei Ayanami. I like my characters with a little more emotion and a human side to them, and Rei, like other characte...
