Amie-Grand looks down on Evangelion's Asuka in a good way

Another figure of Asuka from Rebuild of Evangelion with a new spin on the pose.

Asuka Langley Shikinami from Rebuild of Evangelion; love her or hate her, you at least have to admire some of the figures released of her. I know I'm drawn in by Amie-Grand's latest 1/6-scale figure of this fiery red head since it's posed in a way that's different than what you usually see. It can be a bit awkward to look at since you'll need to look at this laying down Asuka from above. Luckily this can be easily resolved with an easel as shown in the product photos. Of course miss Asuka is in her test plug-suit and laying down in a way so you can see how much this outfit clings to and reveals her body. Oh, Gendo... "test plug-suit", huh?

Unfortunately it's not the greatest of quality for a mold since Amie-Grand likes to stick to the a large scale and polystone for the material. This also means a hefty retail price of ¥15,800 but hey! If you need something different for your Asuka and have some spare change to expand your collection, you can pre-order her now. Look for Amie-Grand's 1/6-scale Asuka Langley Shikinami to come out in February, 2012.
