Well to be fair, it's based off the cover illustration of the artist's art book, and that book is awesome, so I can enjoy this figure on that level...
....still, ANOTHER AEGIS. I just hope Yukiko gets a rerelease. Plus a larger scale Aegis might be nice, all I have is the figma.

The level of detail and the paint job are incredible. Since I don't have any Aegis figures, I won't have any qualms about ordering this one. I wholeheartedly agree though, the rest of the Persona cast deserve some attention. It would be awesome if they made a figure of Dojima for their Altair line!
I agree too much Aegis but man they nailed the illustration. Looks great.
On a related note, that particular artbook is actually getting an english language release (I think there's some interviews and stuff) in October, in case you can't afford the figure like I can't.

I absolutely agree that they nailed the illustration. It's one of the reasons why this post wasn't filled with rage, merely mild annoyance. You'd be surprised how excellent execution can make up for an over-done character.
Erp, not sure what happened there. Just wanted to say that between this and the Cospa, I'd have a hard time choosing (given the sheer scale). I'll probably get this despite having the Cospa and figma, but I really hope for more new Persona figures. I don't have anything at all against this, though; it's simply gorgeous.
I'm seriously considering picking her up, really just depends on the month/price point. The detailing and colors on this figure are (in my opinion) the best I've ever seen. Leave it to Alter to never fail to amaze and surprise me
I agree on all counts of too much Aigis, but this....this is the ultimate! I own that art book (Shigenori Soejima is my master now!) and I loved the illustration of Aigis that appears on the cover.

So pretty, but I doubt I'll have the money. I wonder if Stephen's prediction about them re-releasing their previous Aegis figure will come true; I heard a rumor about their molds from 2008 being destroyed but I don't know how true that is.

P3 is one of my favorite games but I'm not a huge fan of Aegis. I have to admit this is a gorgeous figure though.
I never even finished Persona 4...I found it to be a little boring...I will eventually finish it, but I don't understand the hype behind it...That being said, I didn't like Aegis. I barely used her in the game, but that figure is awesome...so much so, that I just might get it.
I don't get her popularity at all. Granted I didn't play FES, but I doubt her character arc there was amazing enough to dwarf virtually every other character in the series, even if she was the main focus in that.

Its gorgeous... but I already own the Cospa one. I would like figures of Female Protagonist from P3... or Yukari... or Chie... or Naoto... *sigh*
I love Aegis, and while I'm tired of her hogging all the figure spotlight, holy crap is this figure gorgeous!! I'm unsure of how big something of a 1/6th scale would be, but I'm assuming it's much too big for the space I have available. I only own the figma Aegis, but I would so buy this. I'll have to pass though. :(
