While the age old argument of how big is too big may always remain up for debate, few might disagree that Sorceress passed that line by at least a mile. Alphamax's Sorceress's sizable assets (or boobset?) have received a preview via Akiba Hobby.
Sorceress, one of the characters from the Playstation 3 and Vita-exclusive Dragon's Crown, first saw pre-orders for her Alphamax-made figure go up in July before vanishing in August and ultimately reappearing earlier this month following a face revision.
While outrageously oversized breasts are no stranger to anime and video games, Sorceress takes things a few steps further although she still falls short of Cattleya's outlandish proportions. Assuming you can look past Sorceress's breasts (I'd suggest trying to focus on her eyes), you may notice that Alphamax has done a previously solid job adapting a somewhat problematic character design. The company has even gone so far as to give her an absolutely incredible base featuring a skeleton clutching a sword (which, by the way, is a lot cooler than Sorceress herself) which many are bound to miss because they're too busy looking at Sorceress's oversized melons. Seriously! Take your eyes off them for a second!
Alphamax's Sorceress features a nicely done, provocative pose where the character is hiking up part of her skirt as if to remind you that she's got more to admire than just the size of her chest. I like this rather coy move on Alphamax's part. Likewise, the face and hair also look great. This is a figure that I suspect that a lot of people would absolutely adore if not for that one (well, two) big distraction(s).
Alphamax's Sorceress is still available for pre-order and is slated to release in March.
