One of my favorite characters to collect some years back was the classic Onegai Teacher's Mizuho--and judging from the popularity and amount of figures she spawned, I was far, far from the only one. Of course, most fans are aware of more recent anime Ano Natsu de Matteru's connection to said series in more ways than one.

Main heroine Ichika bears a number of similarities to her predecessor, both in heritage and looks, and to say it's quite nostalgic is an understatement. Alphamax did a fantastic job at creating a very attractive release, with a lovely soft looking figure and some nice coloring. She may be a simple design, and it may be my previous love for Mizuho talking, but I am pretty enamored with this figure.

I haven't seen the show yet, either, but I'll certainly say this is making me consider bumping it up the backlog a bit! Sadly there's quite a wait for her, though, as she'll be available in December and run around ¥6,800.
