Aim for the top! SRC Gunbuster is coming in February 2013You have your thoughts and desires known when it comes to a figure of Gunbuster. Bandai has prepared the Gainax original and has hopefully made it suitable to your tastes in this Super Robot Chogokin edition. With a February release and a price tag of 6,090 yen, it will hopefully live up to your wants. First thing to note here is what is coming in the package. What stands out the most is the inclusion of the Buster Collider parts for the arms and legs. They won't pop out like they did on the original Soul of Chogokin, but with the smaller form factor here, I'm really glad they're included. You won't be able to do The Pose perfectly, but the shoulder joints do allow for them cross over if not for the hands. Also, you will get the spikes on the feet for the ever-popular Inazuma Kick. All things said, you'll be quite happy with what SRC Gunbuster will bring you. Lastly, Bandai is doing something special for this Gainax release. The joints will allow you to swap parts with the other Gainax SRC release, Gurren Lagann. You can also place the Giga Drill Break on the leg for a more drill-dynamic Inazuma Kick. There is also a campaign page for the two releases as these two are special to the super robot fan. I'm definitely excited for the release of SRC Gunbuster, how about you guys? Did you know?
