A preview of some upcoming Disney Vinylmations

Recently, there was a Vinylmation showcase, during which a Vinylmation Conversation was held to discuss new series for the next year and reveal some previews. The details of the Conversation can be seen on this blog, but I'm going to share some of it with you, anyway!

The series that stood out to me the most (and the highlight of the panel) was "Nerds Rock!" 3" series. The best thing about this particular set is they aren't actually blind boxed, so you'll be able to pick whichever nerds you like. According to the preview (which showcases Chip and Dale), the glasses are removable and everything (similarly the Mayor from Nightmare Before Christmas' Vinyl has a tall hat you can attach or remove).

Another series they previewed is called Occupations, where again you get to choose from a window box a 3" vinyl with a certain occupation, and it comes with a random junior vinyl as well. Each occupation has 3 possible juniors; so for example the Teacher 3" figure looks like a stack of books, and the juniors are a pencil, a writing workbook and a sheet of ruled paper with an A+.

The last series which was previewed is called Celebrations, and the idea is the same with the Occupations, except the theme is obviously not jobs but things you should celebrate (like a graduation). All of the previews look great, but like I said, I'm most interested in the Nerds Rock! How about you, Tomofolk?

I'll add again, it's also very exciting that these sets are not blind box, because that makes things a lot easier for not-so-hardcore collectors. These will be available at parks and various local shops or the online store sometime soon, and I'll be sure to keep you all updated!
