A look at tonight's pre-order highlights
I can't guarantee I'll be doing this kind of thing regularly, but I felt like doing one of these round-up kind of thingies tonight. A few pre-orders went up this evening that fall into the "awesome" and "anticipated" arenas, so I thought I'd just give you all the alert in one post. Nendoroid Nyaruko is another cutie-patootie with a lovely little black and white checkered dress, a weapon and a... demon? I can't say I'm too familiar with the source material, but I think some folks might end up pre-ordering based on the cute factor alone. She's slated for release in November with a ¥3,330 retail tag. ArtFX Bishoujo Jaina Solo is one of my most wanted figures of this year. Generally, I would suggest waiting until the figure hits stateside retail and ordering from your local comic book store, but I understand some folks might still end up importing. If that's your style, she's retailing for ¥6,800 and is set to fly out in November, with just enough time to make it to my house for Christmas. She's a beauty, and I hope she's a hit. Love Plus' Nene, Rinko and Manaka are looking surprisingly great. I love that the kinda muted colors more or less match their appearance in the game. I like the pastel look to them and I hope they turn out as nice as they seem. They're slightly on the pricey side at ¥8,000 each, but that's because they're 1/6-scale. If you pre-order one or all, they'll be swinging by for ice cream sometime in the fall. For the record, Nene is definitely my kind of girl.
