A Gundam Unicorn Banshee upgade translates to new kits

See? It's different. Totally different.

It shouldn't be any surprise that Bandai is going to milk Unicorn dry. The Unicorn Banshee proved to be pretty popular so they needed a way to capture that lightning in a bottle again. The easy way for them is to make some upgrades (read: new weapons) and some slight alterations and you have a brand new suit. They've done just that with the creation of the Unicorn Banshee Norn. That of course means we'll be seeing two "brand-new" HGUC kits.

Coming this March will be those two new HGUCs, posing the Unicorn Banshee Norn in both the Unicorn and Destroy modes. What is new on this unit is the new shield, referred to as the Armed Armor DE. That shield will actually be available as a 1/100 pack-in with an upcoming issue of Gundam ACE. The other new feature is the gun, which is now larger, thus making it obviously better. There's no details or even a prototype ready, although one was hidden behind frosted glass not too long ago. Expect some more details, along with price and some actual images later this month in hobby scans.
