A clear look at Kotobukiya's Asuna from Sword Art Online

It's still in prototype form and looking just as lovely

At the Kotobukiya Hobby Exhibition, a few new PVC figures were revealed with one of them being the popular Asuna from Sword Art Online. Though nothing new, the Kotobukiya Figure Blog updated with some nice clear pictures of the 1/8-scale prototype.

I can see why she's a popular lady what with her being cute looking especially with that sweet smile. The hair is looking fantastic with a lot of movement to go with her twirling body motion. There isn't much in the way of armor but the details so far look excellent with the number of crosses and emblems all standing out. Even the belt buckle and hook look superb. Of course a paint job can ruin a figure that looks great in prototype form but I don't think we have too much to worry about since it's Kotobukiya.

Kotobukiya's Asuna will be on displayed once again at the upcoming Dengeki 20th Anniversary Festival starting October 20, 2012. Have you already been sold on this figure or do you have to see her with a full coat of paint before making your decision?
