Watch this adorable preview of Nendoroid Ozawa Rina and Nameko photo
Watch this adorable preview of Nendoroid Ozawa Rina and Nameko
by Kristina Pino

The folks at Nameko Paradise blog had an opportunity to handle GSC's decomaster of Nendoroid Ozawa Rina, to adorable results. The host of the video walks us through her various signature poses with Nameko as illustrated on book and game covers.

There isn't much more to say except that it's delightful - I've been in love with this figure's design since we first started seeing her around, since she translates perfectly into Nendoroid form.

I've also included a few images in the gallery below from their blog (click through for more), with detailed looks at the figures. Enjoy!

Cardboard Iron Man is the best paper-based superhero ever

Maybe it's just me, but cardboard is starting to feel like the construction medium of this generation. Sure, people have been making boxy robot costumes out of cardboard for decades now, and they're alright, but just look at...

Origami on a whole new level: a life-sized elephant

Every now and again, I look at something and go, "Damn." Not in a bad way, mind you. I mean, in a totally awe-struck way. Sipho Mabona is an origami artist, and he successfully funded a project through IndieGoGo called The W...

Team Fortress 2's Syringe Gun, built from Lego bricks

Win big (literally) with Kidrobot's newest Golden Ticket photo
Win big (literally) with Kidrobot's newest Golden Ticket
by Brian Szabelski

Huck Gee's Penelope McStompsalot Dunny has been released into the wild, but Kidrobot has a little surprise for those picking her up in her black or olive green colorways. Huck and KR have hidden a golden ticket inside one of the boxes, and the winner gets a pretty rare piece of Huck's work for their collection.

The prize? A development prototype of Huck's Art Giants Skullhead. Yeah, you remember those things are about 4 feet tall? Not too bad a prize for picking up one of these.

The black version of Penelope is already sold out online, meaning that it'll only be in Kidrobot stores and that the green version for retailers is your other chance to win. Penelope isn't cheap either, priced at US$199.99. Also, if you're in San Francisco, Huck will be signing at a release party tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific at Kidrobot San Francisco (1512 Haight St.)
