Custom Delights: Josh Mayhem's Iron Giant Dunny

Josh Mayhem has recently completed a new 3-inch Dunny commission, and this one is one of my favorites from 2014. His Iron Giant Dunny is exactly what you'd expect: a pint-sized representation of the film's title character, us...

Wonder Festival 2014 Summer: ThreeZero's Atlas from Titanfall photo
Wonder Festival 2014 Summer: ThreeZero's Atlas from Titanfall
by Brian Szabelski

ThreeZero showed up at Wonder Festival 2014 Summer with their big, bad Atlas from Titanfall. The Atlas stands a full 20 inches tall, comes with a pilot figure that has it own accessories, has LED illumination on the top of the machine and inside the cockpit ... and oh yeah, has a cockpit that opens up. Pretty standard fare for a ThreeZero release, though.

If you've got US$430 hanging around, you can still pre-order Atlas on ThreeZero's shop.

Standby, here are your Gundam Build Fighters Season 2 Gunpla photo
Standby, here are your Gundam Build Fighters Season 2 Gunpla
by Andres Cerrato

Gundam Build Fighters was amazing. It didn't have a great plot, but it was at least enjoyable if just for all of the cameos. It certainly surpassed expectations in the west and now season 2, Gundam Build Fighters Try is on the horizon. With a new series based around Gunpla, there are of course new Gunpla for you to buy this upcoming October.

The main Gunpla of the series appears to be the Build Burning Gundam, which is unrelated to the God/Burning Gundam from G Gundam. Next is the Lightning Gundam, which is based off the Re-GZ. Lastly, there's the Winning Gundam, which is an original SD that features a combination gimmick to have different modes. In addition, there's the Powered GM Cardigan, which at this time has no other info about it except that it will come with a lot of weapons.

There's quite a bit to like here and I know that the series will have some more Gunpla that will have me buying them with no hesitation. Hopefully the show will be just as good as last time. After the jump, you'll find all of the pictures and release info.

The Hi-Nu Gundam ver. Ka is simply a beautiful mobile suit. While the first MG Hi-Nu had its detractors because it wasn't like the original design by Izubuchi, the new kit follows his design aesthetics much more faithfully. A...

Tomopop Review: Takara Tomy Transformers 4 Premiere Edition Optimus Prime photo
Tomopop Review: Takara Tomy Transformers 4 Premiere Edition Optimus Prime
by Jeremy Emerje Crocker

You're probably already well aware that 2014 marks yet another Transformers movie year. This time around Transformers 4: Age of Extinction begins a new story arc featuring returning and new Autobots (now in more knightly looking forms) facing a threat from both Deceptions and humans alike. Of course Both Hasbro and Takara Tomy have big toy plans for the movie and they've kicked it off with a dual release of First Edition Optimus Prime. Both figures are 100% identical, this one just happens to be the Takara Tomy release.

It's no secret that the two companies have been slashing the costs to make Transformers figures by simplifying them. Unfortunately even collector-level figures haven't been spared. I won't lie to you, this figure is anything but 'prime'. Follow me after the jump for the full review.
