Kodykoala makes me rethink zombies yet again with a Game Boy of all things

Tomopop Review: Zombie Head Cookie Jar

Jan 27 // Colette Bennett
Figure Name: Zombie Head Cookie JarFigure Maker: Symbiote Studios and Think GeekRetail Price: US$39.99 Available at: ThinkGeek | Symbiote StudiosI make it no secret that I am generally impatient about the box part of reviews. I know you guys want to see the box, but usually I am just all about getting whatever is in there out of it. I have to hand it to Symbiote, though; I loved the box on this one. If you wanted to give it as a gift, you could really just smack a bow on it and call it a day. The design extends to all sides of the box, too -- check out the gallery for more of that. Here he is out of the box, and in case you can't tell, he is monstrous. The jar measures 12" in height and 32" around, which basically means that you can potentially never run out of cookies once you fill this thing up (well, unless you're like, Cookie Monster or something). The jar is solid ceramic, and it weighs eight pounds. Eight! You don't have to worry about this sliding around on the counter. Cookie storage is serious business, people. The back view is the best to get a feel what is going on here -- you have the one side with the black hair and the other with the exposed brain. I guess depending on how you display it on the counter, it can be more or less gruesome. That could be handy for when your parents come over.BRAINSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Ew! Don't look at me like that, it's creeping me out. I wonder of this would scare me if I went to the kitchen in the middle of the night. He's so ominous. But he stole a cookie from his own head, which is weird. Is that like cannibalism?Full of cookies! I bet if you get this it will be the first time you've wanted sweets from someone's cranium.Hey! Those are my cookies! Don't steal em!Okay, that is way too scary. I guess that answers my question about seeing it in the dark in my kitchen. Mental note: put a towel over the cookie jar before I go to bed. This is a pretty unique collectible. Solidly made and obviously armed with a sense of humor, this will be the perfect gift for the friends who love classic horror films and kitschy decor. We recommend it if you like zombies, silliness, or just need a cookie jar that dwarfs every other container you've ever owned.[Thanks to Symbiote Studios for the review sample!]
