Toynami's SDCC offerings are gaming and nerd culture gold photo
Toynami's SDCC offerings are gaming and nerd culture gold
by Natalie Kipper

Toynami updated their FaceBook page today to announce their San Diego Comic Con exclusives. I must say, I am impressed with the variety in source material that the toys draw from. American superheroes, Japanese heroes, and gaming icons are all represented here. Let's get to discussing them, shall we?

Skelanimals will be taking on The Dark Knight Rises in plush form. Sanrio, it seems, is starting a line of Sanrio x Street Fighter plushes, starting with the SDCC-excluisive Hello Kitty Chun Li plush (in Street Fighter Alpha attire). Next is a pink plush version of Angry Panda. Finally, there is the Naruto Nine Tails' Chakra Mode action figure. Judging from the description on the FaceBook page, the Naruto figure will ship after the event.

I know I am totally psyched for the Skelanimals and Hello Kitty plushes. Have any of these con-exclusives been added to your shopping list?
