Tomopop LinkUP: Ready. Set. LEGO!

LEGO toys are one of those things that I think most boys and probably a lot of girls can associate with. Raise your hand if you've ever tried to dig a LEGO brick out of your mom's vacuum or know the pain of stepping on a bloc...

Check out and see how to safely display Alter's Suzuha
by Jon Wills

Emily just posted a preview gallery to Alter's Suzuha, but I wanted to go a bit more in-depth. You see, Alter's primary intent with their photos was not just to show off their figure but really to show some nice closeups as to how Suzuha should be poised on her bike for long term display.

Hit the jump or check out the gallery to see more of how to assemble Alter's Suzuha Amane.

Take this Suzuha Amane gallery for a spin

Alter's Suzuha of Steins;Gate fame has certainly had a rocky start. First announced over a year ago and getting subjected to the usual Alter delays, she only recently saw the Light of Day and, as you can imagine, quickly disa...

Preview GSC's Faris Nyannyan and maid cosplay! photo
Preview GSC's Faris Nyannyan and maid cosplay!
by Jon Wills

It's been a long wait since Pre-orders first opened up for Good Smile Comapny's Faris NyanNyan. Of course she has been in the news before. Mikatan's originaly previewed and teased her along with GSC's Kristina Nendoroid. Now it's almost time for release and this time Kahotan brings us one last teaser before she ships out to customers October 8th.

Faris is looking cute as ever with her cat ears, pink twin tails and maid outfit. It's nice to see her posed with a few different expressions and accessories too, but the coolest part about Kahotan's latest preview is that she takes the maid outfit of Faris and tries it on many other Nendoroids including recent nendos such as Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier and Mokochi from Watamote. It's all very cute and I suggest you check out Kahotan's blog and the gallery.

Delays hit Alter's release schedule photo
Delays hit Alter's release schedule
by Yami Casas

I knew things seemed a bit too quiet in Alter-land. After all, Alter wouldn't be Alter without a delay or two on a monthly basis, right? Right. They recently updated their September shipment schedule, and as you can probably guess, the dreaded "D" is upon us once again. This time around, it's packing quite the list of delayed goodies.

Well, thanks to the delays, my wallet can breathe a sigh of relief. However, this means I have to wait another month before Raven officially joins my Tales shrine. What about you, Tomochii's? Are any of these delays cause for budgetary relief or disappointment?

Preview this WonFest exclusive Kurisu
by Emily Smalara

Heathen that I am, I've still yet to see for myself just what all the hype is surrounding the infamous Steins;Gate game and series. That still goes for being confused as to just what people find so appealing about heroine Kurisu as well, but at least I will say that the latest from Good Smile goes a long way in showing her off.

Even to the uninitiated like myself, they turned out a really nice looking figure here. The flowing lab coat is replicated well, and I really like the shimmery almost copper tone used in her hair. A lot of my issue with her is how plain she seems, so Good Smile's decision to add a bit of shine to her hair is appreciated. Her unique eyes are shown off well too, and they certainly look great, if a little creepy!

Unfortunately, fans won't have the easiest time picking her up. While you fawn over this preview from Mikatan, you'll have to either pick her up at WonFest itself on July 28th, or grab her from Good Smile's online store on the same day.

Good Smile unveils its Summer Wonder Festival exclusives photo
Good Smile unveils its Summer Wonder Festival exclusives
by Martin Siggers

It seems like no time at all since Winter Wonder Festival, but summer is upon us and with that comes a new WonFes and a shiny new batch of exclusives. Earlier today GSC opened their official event website and unveiled the stuff you'll only be able to get at the con...or online, as is the fashion these days. They are:

They also announced that a sixth exclusive, a new version of Dekacchu Kirari Moroboshi ~Lovely Princess ver. (previously sold during Winter WonFes), will be available only online.

As has become the usual pattern for WonFes exclusives, these will go up for order on the day Wonder Festival opens, the 28th July. Figures will be made to order and shipped out sometime in November once manufacturing is complete. Is there anything here which tickles your fancy readers? As an avowed non-fan of The IDOLM@STER I think I'll be passing, but it certainly looks like there's some smart looking stuff for those in the know.

Open the gate to pre-ordering figma Makise Kurisu

Despite the strangely immense popularity, I'll freely admit I never quite understood the internet's obsession with Steins;Gate's Makise Kurisu. While I have my own misgivings, I'm sure fans will be jumping to grab her upcomin...
