Matty Collector has announced that it will NOT be attending New York Comic Con this year, instead citing a unspecified scheduling issue (perhaps the entire company will be washing its hair that weekend?). While the news is ce...

NYCC 2013: Alpha Godz

Alpha Godz were back at NYCC in 2013, and they'd brought with then a nice selection of pop culture-inspired customs. It was also the debut of a new figure, Flatz, who you can see in the gallery as Venom and Spider-Man customs...

NYCC 2013: BeeFy & Co. and Dead Hand Toys

BeeFy & Co. and Dead Hand Toys were two smaller booths at NYCC, but they had some older wares to show off. In particular, BeeFy & Co. had their Jade Bad Bad Buddha on display, while Dead Hand Toys brought some of their Greads and Nex figures along for the trip, among others. Check out the gallery for photos from both booths!

NYCC 2013: Monster Island

Monster Island lived up to its name at NYCC (the monster part of it, anyway; there wasn't a huge body of water at NYCC), having brought a slew of monstrous creations to the con. The Monster Island booth contained a mix of figures, shirts, and accessories (well, what appear to be necklaces). Be sure to check out the gallery.

NYCC 2013: Monster Factory photo
NYCC 2013: Monster Factory
by Natalie Kipper

The majority of Monster Factory's booth at New York Comic Con was taken over by reasonably-priced character buttons and plushes of various sizes. At the corner of the booth, facing the convention's walkway was the company's con-exclusive Giant Colin plush, previously featured in our pre-NYCC designer toy round-up. A mini version of their Colin character was also spotted at the booth, along with other lovable monsters like Clementine and Buddy. The pins, priced at US$1 each, had drawings of the monsters along with a phrase. All the pin phases fit with the featured monster's personality. I spotted a Colin pin that read "What. Ever."

Check out the gallery to see more of Monster Factory's NYCC booth!
