NYCC 2014: Bandai of America

Oct 12 // Scarecroodle
The highlight here is probably Ivan Ooze, star of Power Rangers: The Movie (and perhaps best remembered from this music video), who will appear in BoA's 5-inch Legacy line (BoA loves to jump around with these scales and pick things not quite compatible with other lines). To keep him from getting lonely, BoA is also releasing (and had on display) the "armored" versions of the Rangers which also first appeared in that movie. Otherwise the MMPR Ultrazord (or Dino Ultrazord) was on display. It combines the MMPR Megazord, Dragonzord, and the carrier Zord Titanus (who was notably used for the first few Ultrazords), all of which have either seen release or are up for pre-order. Also on display were the Tigerzord, the sword Saba, and the White Ranger's morpher. On the Godzilla front, BoA will be releasing a MechaGodzilla, King Ghidorah, and a new Godzilla into its (12-inch?) Godzilla line. Given that only Toys "R" Us really seems to carry this line, it's somewhat hard to keep track of releases. Finally there was a limited edition Tokyo Vinyl MMPR Green Ranger on display. This variant is a NYCC exclusive which I assume was probably being sold at the BoA booth. Be sure to check out the photo gallery for all of the images.
