Sanrio will be making their big debut at SDCC with an interactive Hello Kitty experience called Hello Kitty Fashion Music Wonderland. This interactive experience will be open to the public at Petco Park and inspired by the styles of Japan. There will be a retail pop-up shop that will have exclusive and limited edition Japanimation themed Hello Kitty items. Each purchase will come with a free poster.

Some of the items available will be leggings, bodysuits, iPhone cases, wrist watches, plushes, and cushions. At the retail pop-up shop, you'll also be able to find the new graphic novel, Hello Kitty Fashion Music Wonderland. This will be the first Hello Kitty graphic novel and it will be published in partnership with VIZ Media.

Also from July 19-20, a Tokyo nail artist will be there to offer fans free Sanrio nail art applications with any US$25 purchase. Of course, fans will get to meet Hello Kitty there in person with her band of Lolitas. Continuing the Hello Kitty experience, inside the convention center at booth #4537, will be "Kitty-chan Secret Space". At this booth, fans will be able to find the Funko limited edition pink Hello Kitty flocked collector's figure. The first 50 people to buy the figure will also receive a free customized drawing by one of Sanrio's lead designers from Tokyo.

Aside from these areas, many Hello Kitty exclusive and debut lines will be available at booths all around. The Hello Kitty Uglydoll collection will make its debut at booth #3245, Sanrio figures will be available at Funko's booth #5343 and limited edition Sanrio x Street Fighter plushes will be at Toynami booth #3229 and Capcom booth #215. Mimoco announced Star Trek Mimobots
by Brian Szabelski

Mimoco has revealed yet another Mimobot series, and this time around, it's Star Trek! The new Star Trek Mimobot line features Kirk, Spock, Picard and Data as Mimobots, and like past series, these come with storage space and some bonuses. You know, wallpapers, desktop icons and avatars, vintage toy commercials, comics and such. According to the press release from Mimoco, there's also apparently some bonus stuff in there for Star Trek: The Next Generation fans like myself, in the form of never-before-seen material from the Blu-ray release of the series.

You can pick them up in all the regular sizes and prices (8GB - US$19.99; 16GB - US$29.99; 32GB - US$39.99; 64GB - US$69.99) right now in Mimoco's store, except for Picard, who is coming in a few weeks. I feel like that Picard is calling my name and I'll no doubt end up with one, but what about you?
