Hey folks, welcome back to the Tomocast. In this episode, we learn a very important lesson: do not poke or annoy Andres on a bad day. He'll turn heel on you faster than you can say swerve.
On the toy end of things, we cover t...

Cris Rose's robot resins ride again, as the Robotones return a week late in November! Now available in Cris' shop, the 3-inch-tall monotone Rourke and Renold Sprogs are available this month in an light olive green colorway. Each is a limited run, ending when supplies run out or it hits Dec. 1. Those of you who've been keeping up with the releases will know that next month is the last one for the year, and you'll need all 12 to get the special 13th Robotone.
You can pick either of these up in Cris' shop for US$25 each. Has anyone been keeping up with the Robotone releases, and what do you think the special 13th release will be? My guess has been and continues to be that it'll be a transparent resin one acting as a "prism".
Cris Rose's Lunar Sprogs were previewed last week, but they'll soon be available! And by soon, I mean today. The Lunar Sprogs Edition A set features four designs — Rigadon, Runcorn, Rutherford, and Roemer — all painted in silver and blue tones, with removable space domes, and each stands 3.75 inches tall.
Each one will be US$75, and they'll be on Cris' store at 6 p.m. GMT (1 p.m. Eastern, 10 a.m. Pacific). Anyone going to pick one of these up?
Sprogs fans, listen up: Cris Rose has got some new resin robots on the way, the 3.75-inch-tall Lunar Sprogs! The newest additions to the Sprogs family are not quite the little guys their predecessors were: they're much bulkie...
Cris Rose's latest addition to his store is another custom, the pink variant of his Repurifier series. But what are these Repurifiers? Wandering robots in big cities who take pollution and filter it out into breathable air, of course! The 6-inch-tall custom ThreeA Toys Bambaboss figure has been tweaked by Cris, giving him a little bit more weathered look and a new faceplate. The pink version has the multi-lens faceplate for "close and detailed analysis of specific sources of suspect gas." Always nice to know someone's looking out for our health!
If you want to pick one up for your own purification needs, this little fellow is US$150 in Cris' store right now. We've also included photos of the earlier olive green and red colorways just to give you a bigger taste of the series so far.
It's that time of the month again: the latest Robotones from Cris Rose are available! For September, the color is English Oak, appropriate for the fall season, I think. As usual, they're in Cris' shop for US$25 each (two per customer limit) and there are Renold and Rourke variants to choose from. No word yet on what to expect in October, but I will guess and say a shade of orange fit for Halloween, perhaps.
Also available in the shop, if you're hungering for something else, is a custom Pineapple Chunks Ramsay done in collaboration with PodgyPanda. The one-off comes with a damaged dome and a cute little sushi chopping board. The asking price is US$190. Any of these robots tickle your fancy?
It's past the 7th of the month, and that means more Robotones from Mr. Cris Rose! August's colorway is Turquoise Thunder, and like other times before it, the release will feature 3-inch-tall Renold and Rourke in a single color and without all the rust detailing. I quite like this colorway, but then again, I like the color, too.
The Robotones are US$25 in Cris' store and on sale right now. Any one out there picking these up, either individually or as a series?
Cris Rose has prepared another robotic treat for his fans, this time giving Rourke the Personal Trimentional Viewer style once-over! Painted in a yellow-orange colorway, each one comes inside a custom-painted base and clear acrylic dome for optimum viewing.
A set of 10 Personal Trimentional Viewer Rourkes will appear in Cris Rose's store at 6 p.m. British Summer Time (1 p.m. Eastern, 10 a.m. Pacific) for US$65 each. Expect to see any future Trimentional Viewer releases in small sets like this as they take Cris a while to paint!
They were a little late for July, but Cris Rose's newest batch of Robotones has been unleashed! July's colorway is Sandy Dunes, a color meant to evoke the warm beaches of the Mediterranean. Like the other previous releases, July's sales will have 3-inch-tall Renold and Rourke in a single color and without all the rust detailing.
The Robotones are US$25 in Cris' store and on sale right now. These will remain in the store until the end of the month or all are sold. We also don't have a hint on August's color yet, but if you can find the earlier Robotones pictures (hint: here it is), we can do some detective work. [UPDATE: Cris says turquoise is next month!]
Thursday marks the 7th of the month, and for those of you who have been following since the beginning of 2012, that means another batch of Robotones from Cris Rose is on the way! June's colorway is Caramel Cone, and like other times before it, the release will feature 3-inch-tall Renold and Rourke in a single color and without all the rust detailing.
The Robotones are US$25 in Cris' store and on sale right now. Also of note is that because Cris is away due to a family emergency we don't now the July color yet. Any one out there picking these up, either individually or as a series?
Cris Rose has been hard at work lately on making more custom bots, and within the past few days, there's been a flood of new ones showing up! First off, his collaboration with Lunabee was indeed a set of French bots, Camembert and Garcon. Each one was sculpted by Cris and painted by Lunabee, and came with a variety of French-themed accessories. They also sold out right away.
Also popping up in Cris' store was two custom Persona Trimensional Viewers, which are Mini-Berties inside a glass covering. Both are as rusty as you might expect from Cris, each trapped inside its own little world, and also as you might expect, they sold out the second they went up for sale.
But if you actually were hoping to buy a robot, well, you're in luck. At 6 p.m. British Time today (1 p.m. Eastern, 10 a.m. Pacific), Cris' newest Clear Vision Mk2 custom is available in his store! Limited to 5 pieces, each one will cost you US$150. I have one and I quite like it! Anyone hoping to pick one up?
Tiny baguettes? Cheese? Robots? If you're wondering how all those fit together, we might find out soon, as both Lunabee and Cris Rose have tweeted teases of a new collaboration, with mention of France in their tweets. They appear to be Cris' bots, but with a French twist to them, painted in the palette of the Tricolore and coming with tiny accessories of French foods.
We'll have some more info on these soon, but I'm somewhat excited to see what those two have come up with. What do you expect these French robots to look like, Tomopop readers?
