HobbyLink Japan is having a figure sale, up to 95% off!

There are sales and there are bargains. Often items posted on sale are not always marked at a low price but rather at their regular low price. Still within any sale there are always some alluring bargains to be found.  H...

Tomopop Review: Bandai Figuarts Mikono photo
Tomopop Review: Bandai Figuarts Mikono
by Jon Wills

Mikono Suzushiro hails from Aquarion Evol, and is the leading lady in the cast. Although a little stereotypical, she is pretty cute. This March, HLJ had a big sale on Bandai items with many items marked 80% off, among the items that were on sale was this Figuarts Zero Mikono collectible. She was only $16 plus shipping.

I'm kind of picky about buying mostly quality figurines, but I'm willing to give any company a chance or two to see what they can make. Was my bargain priced figure just a piece of junk or was it a treasure in disguise? Hit the jump to find out.

Get two times the elegance with Aquarion's Crea

I'm still less than familiar with the cast of mecha series Aquarion Evol, but I'm definitely digging the look of this Crea Dolosera, latest in Megahouse's Excellent Model lineup. It shouldn't come as a surprise, what with tha...

Scans show MegaHouse's Chie in color and more prototypes

Though it may be that time of the year for us in the States to go into a food coma, Japan still can't pull a fast one on us like they have with the latest magazine scans. Oodles of delicious tidbits have come pouring out...

Check out these two Aquarion Evol ladies

I'm no expert on Aquarion Evol but it does seem to have some cool character designs. MegaHouse is bringing them to 3D in typical MegaHouse fashion, which is to say "yeah they look all right but not spectacular." The painted f...

Connect with pre-orders for Aquarion's Mikono

Easily one of the trippier giant robot series around, there's at least no denying the appeal of Aquarion's character designs. Bright and colorful, they seem to beg to be turned into collectibles, and we've already seen a numb...
