Here's what Good Smile has announced for their booth photo
Here's what Good Smile has announced for their booth
by Brian Szabelski

As some of you remember, Good Smile Company will be attending their first U.S. event when they show up at New York Comic Con starting Thursday. So what's Good Smile officially announced they're bringing? The list goes as follows: Nendoroid Gakupo Kamui, Luka Megurine Tony ver., Nendoroid Petit Vocaloid Series #01, Nendoroid Kaito, Nendoroid Rin Kagamine, Nendoroid Hatsune Miku, figma Black Rock Shooter TV Animation ver., Nendoroid Kuroyukihime, the Linkin Park Nendoroid Petit set, Saber and her Motored Cuirassier, the Nendoroid Petit Racing Miku set, and both the Moekana and Moekana booster sets.

All in all, it's a line-up perhaps geared more toward the U.S. audience who isn't familiar with Good Smile. Probably expected since this is their first official U.S. event ... but there could always be some surprises when we visit the booth. There could always be some interesting surprises ...

Aki no Saiten 2012: 1/1 Nerve Gear, Neurolinker, and more photo
Aki no Saiten 2012: 1/1 Nerve Gear, Neurolinker, and more
by Emily Smalara

The Accel World and Sword Art Online goodies keep coming out of Aki no Saiten with some fantastic pieces that will suit all your cosplay needs! Whether you're ready for the VR experience or want a little augmented reality thrown in, you're covered with some great looking 1/1-scale versions of the aforementioned series' Neurolinker and Nerve Gear. I'm sure many of us are waiting for their inevitable working versions, but hopefully these will suit in the meantime!

We've also got a look at Chara-Ani's upcoming minis, featuring SAO's Kirito and Asuna, along with a host of Accel World characters ranging from Kuroyukihime to Haruyuki's pig-form to a number of Brain Burst avatars as well. Of course that's not all, as it looks like nearly all of the series' Kings are shown off, from Yellow Radio to Green Grandee and Purple Thorn. There's also another look at the truly staggeringly huge Red King in all her armored glory.

Finally, yet another Kuroyukihime looks to be arriving soon, with Sega's prize figures showing off a rather surprisingly casual version of the Black King. Relaxing in a simple dress with a mysterious mask in hand, she's rather different from the costumed Kuroyukihime we've seen until now but still quite attractive! In any case, it's a good time to be a fan of Reki Kawahara's works, with a load of upcoming, great-looking collectibles on the horizon!

Aki no Saiten 2012: Max Factory's Kuroyukihime bust photo
Aki no Saiten 2012: Max Factory's Kuroyukihime bust
by Emily Smalara

Wow. Honestly I could just say that and be done with all that needs said about this post. We've seen a few Kuroyukihimes from Accel World popping up here and there, but a normal figure is not good enough for Max Factory, no sir! Instead, they've decided to give us a bust of our lovely leading lady, shown off at Dengeki Aki no Saiten! Not just any bust, either, but an extremely, extremely sexy number.

Partnered with her Black Lotus avatar, Kuroyukihime is quite clearly devoid of clothing, censored only by a tantalizingly placed base and the blades of her own avatar wrapped around her. It goes without saying that this looks like an extremely well done bust, with some very high quality sculpting and a great eye for aesthetics. Sadly there's no word on pricing or dates just yet, but it also should go without saying that I'll be keeping a close eye on this one for any future news.
