49th All Japan Plamodel Hobby Show photo

It's like Christmas for figure announcements but, Japan, I can't keep up with you guys. From October 8 to October 11 is the hobby product focused 49th annual All-Japan Plamodel Hobby Show. Some companies attending include Kotobukiya, WAVE and Bandai. So, what goodies do we get to look forward to?

Being a hobby show, Bandai was loaded with Gundam models and Macross valkyries. Bandai also teased a new Ranka Lee and Sheryl Nome of Macross Frontier as part of the emotion style. Bandai is giving us their take on the 1/8 scale posable with their new MG Figurerise line. Their first release will be Dragonball's Son Goku.

Wave had more Beach Queens prototypes with Macross's Lynn Minmay, Macross 7's Mylene Jenius and K-On's Tsumugi. Ristu and Azusa were also announced. I'm happy that Mylene is getting a modern release. Just wish it wasn't a part of the Beach Queens series. Also announced from WAVE is a 1/10 scale Asuka from Evangelion wearing her test plug suit.

Hit the gallery to see other figures such as Hoi Hoi, Strike Witches and more. And this is only day 1!

MOAR PVC:

Legacy Comments

They announced a new MG Victory Gundam (Ver.Ka) too. Or at least, I think it was just announced, I hadn't seen it before. December release I think.
Victory Gundam[
Also 00's Box
And FSS Stuff. by wave? I'm not sure what those are, and the picture is too small for me to read. . .
I know somebody who's going to be very excited about all that new Strike Witches stuff....also, new Hoi Hoi accessories? DO WANT!
COMBAT-SAN!!!!! I knew they wouldn't abandon you!!!

But what the heck is that Shirley Fenette Figure doing up there? Please don't tell me it's yet another GK I own which is being made into a PVC... *shakes fist angrily*

@Tony: Yup, those are wave FSS kits, so probably plastic. I can make out a LED mirage with flamer pack (as well as the completed one) and an Engage Octavier SR3 being teased in the pic.
The Strike Witches figures look awesome, who makes those? do want!
That Son-Goku figure looks badass! Too bad you have to built it yourself :(

Yoshika is from Mobip, it's sort of a knock off Figma line, but I'm loving the shots of her... it looks much better than anticipated. Lynette is from Kotobukiya, and totally out of left field! Her pose is better than their Sanya and the face is a decent match this time too. Can't wait for more pictures to surface. :D

Yea Lynette looks awesome, I really want to get her when she comes out, I was looking around earlier and came across the Sanya as well, but Lynette is definitely better.
