Hot Toys has just announced that the Albert Wesker and Chris Redfield figures from their 12" Biohazard 5 line are getting a little variant love. In news that is sure to please longtime fans of the series, Chris and Wesker will see a release in their classic S.T.A.R.S. uniforms in the 1st quarter of 2010.
As with the original versions, these S.T.A.R.S. variants will include real cloth clothing, loads of weapons and accessories, and interchangeable hands. Wesker also features red light-up eyes. I know that I'm not the only one who was a bit disappointed with Resident Evil 5's focus on action at the expense of scares. These re-suits will certainly make a great consolation prize.
