[UPDATED] Good Smile Company decides to delay Triumphant Excalibur for another month photo

Okay, this is getting ridiculous. Triumphant Saber was originally a July release that was delayed to August. I ordered her because this was a light preorder month for me, and now they go and delay her not to September, which I could still swing, but to OCTOBER. The month of wallet death. GSC, I kind of hate you for this. You better delay her until December so I can actually afford this damn figure.

I know Saber Lily and Black Rock Shooter were each delayed about 5 months, and that really messed up a lot of people's order schedule. Good Smile really needs to fix whatever issue that is making them delay things for so long. One month is acceptable, maybe two, but three to five? No way. What could possibly cause a company to spend an extra three months on a figure?! Any of you guys order Saber and want to punch something over this delay?

[UPDATE] GSC apparently had a typo, and she is a September release, not an October one. Somehow I don't quite believe that we will see her in September though....

Never ordered this so I can kindly laugh at those having a huge pre-order build-up lol. Was going to order it at one point though but I've long been Saber-Saturated for a while now.
They're too busy making restaurants to get their figures out on time. In other news, the Black*Rock Coffee Bar just opened (I'm not making this up).
Great, I so didn't see this coming. /sarcasm. But why October? I have quite a few expensive things for that month.. BRS Anime Version (watch this get a delay too, or not since BRS is prolly their main Cash Cow now), Alters Mugi, Alters Re-release of Gwendolyn, Megahouses' Ogita, GSG Hitagi. Sigh, I really don't want to have to cancel any of them. Well if I must choose.. Hitagi goes.
If something gets delayed I just put the money aside to pay for it when it finally does come out. In fact, its cheaper if its put into a month with a bunch of other preorders because you can lump them together in one package and save on shipping.
As for Saber, I had to pass because the mouth looks a little like a chipmunk. Would still love to see her in person though.
I debated getting this one, but I'm glad I decided to pass with that delay.

@Luzai you bring up a humongously good point. I think for most people it's just sticker shock. My August preorder includes 3 of 5 items that were supposed to be let out in July, one of those 3 even got pushed back into "early Sept" so I'm glad that AmiAmi is still letting me bundle it in with the other stuff. Once shipping cost is divided amongst the items I'm sure it'll end up being cheaper than had everything shipped in smaller bunches.

I'm not looking forward to October pre-order doom that much, though I must say other than my Alter re-release of Gwendolyn and Koto's Noumi (a gift for a friend) the rest of my items are figma and a nendo!!! So I'll end up getting a whole bunch of packages and end up spending a lot less than some of the other people here I can imagine. Not to mention half of my order is part of Hobby Search's half price shipping campaign that they were running a few months ago. ;)
I have had the money set aside for this since I first saw it so its not really a problem financially but it is annoying that it will be that much longer before I have it on my shelf.
If you check the page again, they edited the release date to September, not October, apparently a typo. XD
Is this still just the first release? Hate to say it, but I'm annoyingly tempted to pick it up since I still don't own one truly high-end item nor do I have a lot of Saber merch (and Amiami still has preorders open). I don't know, will have to play it by ear. I'd probably have to get rid of some stuff to accommodate it because most of my shelves are pretty crammed.
yeah I always have to cancel due to a big pre order month I could only afford just one big figure for especially Oct. when the beautiful Senjougahara comes out and she's already expensive enough. The delays really kill it for me, I don't bother with it if it doesn't come out in time.
@Luzai

I saved myself some good 40 bucks from getting a bunch of stuff at the same time, so yeah I agree it's not so bad for delays if you keep track of them and set the money aside. I do have to acknowledge that it's kind of annoying when pricey items get lumped together, sometimes you just need to use the money on something else at that time.
