Orchid Seed's involvement in the Seven Deadly Sins line of figures is turning out to be a good thing. The designs are interesting and for my money, I don't know if anybody does cast-off better than Orchid Seed. Their latest reveal, Lucifer (representing pride), got a pretty sizable gallery when she went up for pre-order. Don't let that stop you from checking out this new, sizable-er gallery on Orchid Seed's blog. It pays particular attention to the really cool base and of course the naughty bits.
This design is less out there than Leviathan/Envy, which is still my favorite thus far. However it is a bit reminiscent of Odin Sphere's Gwendolyn, with the bluish skirt bits and wings around the hips. I also really like that she doesn't look abnormally bulky with her clothes - a hallmark of bad cast-off design.
This is the first deadly sin to be available from the big online retailers, so you'll have a real shot at getting one. I just dropped a pretty penny on Leviathan so I'm still on the fence. Do you guys think it's worth committing a few more sins to pick up Lucifer?

I gushed about this figure when it went up for pre-order, but some folks were entirely unimpressed with what I consider a lovely figure of Haganai/Haganai NEXT's Sena as a dancer. Since the last time we saw her, it doesn't lo...

I count Strike Witches among the few, more ecchi guilty pleasure shows that I have enjoyed. However I did not really enjoy this show until the second season. So I found it to be pretty cool that Alter just announced...

When Boku Wa Tomodachi Ga Sukunai, or Hagani for short, debuted in October of 2011, I don't think anybody expected it to be as successful as it was. Typically for a show like Haganai, most companies would have had a ton of me...

The latest Hobby Japan scans brought with them a new Hyakka Ryouran figure: a 1/8-scale Keiji Maeda. If you're into well-developed women, it's tough to beat that body. Although Keiji is wearing a kimono-like outer layer, it's...
